Ketu Creates Disillusionment!

Disillusionment is a beautiful word as it helps us articulate such a complex emotion. The literal definition of "disillusionment"- is a feeling of disappointment resulting from the discovery that something is not as good as one believed it to be. But it is rather something inevitable, we all have to face this aspect of our existence one day. 

Aging, losing loved ones, and natural calamities, just reveal the part of nature that we don't want to see or confront. Ketu or the south node of the moon is considered a first-grade malefic which takes away the significations of the house where it is positioned. It makes us painfully aware of the harsh realities of life. It brings us closer to the truth of the transience of our existence. Ketu is the karaka of moksha and this disillusionment forces us to seek liberation from the cycle of life and death. This cycle of illusion where we are seeking something outside. Spirituality tell us to look within, to find your fulfillment within. The cosmos was created out of love. Love is the basis of creation. Introspection helps us to get in touch with this side of life. Every storm or difficult event brings us closer to our real self. So Ketu can be said as a blessing in a disguise.
