Jyestha Nakshatra: Aesthetics

Being located in 8th house, Jyestha nakshatra has extreme tendencies. One will notice Jyestha  natives swinging from one extreme to other in terms of aesthetics.

This bright aesthetic is also reflected in the work of many designers with Jyestha nakshatra placement like DVF (Ketu in Jyestha) and Masaba (Moon in Jyestha). She is the perfect example of a true Jyestha woman. The way she transformed her life fighting through early challenges to take everything in her stride is the mark of a Jyestha life path. Her trademark being her unique colorful prints inspired from her both  Indian and Caribbean cultural backgrounds. Prints and intricate details is part of every Jyestha designer.

But the crux of this thread is the drastic change that happens in every Jyestha's life. I had mentioned in my Jyestha-Mula gandanta thread that how they eventually become zen and seek a minimalist life. You can see this in Masaba's new house interiors. You can see two types of Jyestha natives, one that have maximalist lifestyle in their youth then change to minimalism with age. The other type of Jyestha natives are always simple from the very beginning. Here are some examples of Jyestha natives and their love for zen lifestyle. E.g, Jyestha moon Jennifer Aniston.

At one point, especially on red carpets Jyestha natives will go for extravagant ensemble with a mix of colors and patterns. In their real life, they have an extremely simple and functional wardrobe. As it lies in Scorpio, there is a lot of mystery and unpredictable element to these natives. Their external and internal personalities being polar opposites. You can never truly understand a Scorpio. Most Jyestha women have wavy hair due to Mercury influence. Jyestha women in particular have piercing eyes. They also have thick and low placed brows which gives them an intense brooding look.

Jyestha women are known to challenge and bring change in society as it lies in Scorpio (the natural 8th house). Like Brenda Chapman's character Merida, the heroine of Pixar's Brave. This character challenged the existing norm of a Disney Princess.
