Power Associated With 5th House In Vedic Astrology: Free E-book On Amulets & Talismans
In Vedic astrology, the 5th house is part of the Dharma-trikona as per B.P.H.S or The Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra written by the founder of Vedic astrologer, sage Parashara. It is the bhava related to yantra, mantra, intelligence, discernment, creation, and children.
The mind is the main instrument for manifestation. The desires that we have, later crystallises and materialises into matter. Hence the 5th house is bhava related to the capacity to shape opinions, perceive objects or ideas, construct a lucid understanding of them and create a future. It represents our creative projects and brainchild.
Brihaspati is the karaka of the 5th house as knowledge, wisdom and faith helps us direct our mental energies on good things and therefore produce positive manifestations or results. Intelligence, wisdom and discernment helps us to make better decisions. Focus helps in channeling all energies and focus onto something. Hence, it is the also the bhava of "devotion" which is created through concentrating our mental energies on a particular deity or person. It is believed that we start to become that which we worship and fixate our minds on. Mantra, yantra, amulets and talismans are part of this sadhna or training your mind to create desired outcomes. One can direct this desire into divine worship and consecrate objects. This is the basis of philosophy that is used in creating objects of power world-wide.
